高净化：“高净化”指示灯亮时，风机全速运行，房间内达到至高净化等级和至大温度调节效果。即ICU病房净化系统处于“高净化级别状态”，icu净化工程设计，能达到洁净ICU病房设计的净化级别。
低净化：“低净化”指示灯亮时时，风机低速运行，房间内维持清洁和适当温度，icu净化工程安装，洁净ICU病房处于“低净化级别状态”，icu净化工程设备，不能达到洁净ICU病房设计的净化级别，如万级ICU病房设计级别为万级，在选择低净化级别时不能达到万级净化室标准。
值班运行：洁净ICU病房维持一定的正压，保证室内不受外界污染。
