4．严格划分三区，即限制区、半限制区、非限制区。三区可设在同一楼层，有条件者可分设在相邻近的二个楼层。限制区应安排在内侧，包括手术间、洗手间和无菌敷料间。根据需要手术间可设无菌手术间与一般手术间。半限制区在中间，主要指敷料准备室、器械室、洗涤室、消毒室、麻醉苏醒室、麻醉准备室等，内镜室、感染手术间亦可放在此区内。非限制区在外侧，设更衣室、卫生间、值班室、标本间、污物处理间、休息室、小餐厅、麻醉及护士办公室、病人接收区、病人家属等候室等。
5．手术室必须设专用电梯。供接送病人及手术室工作人员使用。男女更衣室应设二个出入口，一端通换鞋室，另一端通手术区域。
